Non-Immigrant “B” (non-B)- Only Single-Entry Visa will be granted

 

B1: Foreigners seeking and employment in a private company in Thailand should apply for this type of visa

1.  Biodata page of valid Passport or Travel Document (with validity not less 6 months. The validity of 18 months is required for one year visa application.)

2.  Two recent (3.5 x 4.5 cm.) photographs of the applicant, taken within the past six months

3.  WP3 Form (An approval letter from the Thai Ministry of Labour) (To obtain this letter, the prospective employer in Thailand is required to submit Form WP3 at the Office of Foreign Workers Administration, Department of Employment, Ministry of Labour Tel 02-2452745,   02-2453209 or at a Provincial Employment Office in the respective province. Further information is available at www.doe.go.th/workpermit/index.html).In case that the visa applicants

currently working in a company in Thailand and need to renew Non-B visa, a work permit will be required instead of WP3 form

·   Japanese is waived from the requirement to submit WP3
 

4.  Letter confirming employment details from an employer signed by authorized person together with a copy of ID card or passport of the signer

5.  Business registration and business license of the hiring company in Thailand

6.  Company profile or details for business operation

7.  List of foreigners working in the hiring company

8.  Yellow Fever Certificate

9.  Consular officers reserve the rights to request additional documents as deemed necessary

 

B2: Foreigners travelling to Thailand on a business purpose (including to volunteer /internwith salary unless it is required by the University curriculum)

1.  Biodata page of valid Passport or Travel Document (with validity not less 6 months)

2.  Two recent (3.5 x 4.5 cm.) photographs of the applicant, taken within the past six months

3.  Letter confirming employment details from an employer signed by authorized person together with a copy of ID card or passport of the signer AND business registration and business license of a partner company in Thailand OR invitation letter from a company in Thailand/Thai company

4.  Yellow Fever Certificate

5.  Consular officers reserve the rights to request additional documents as deemed necessary

B3: Foreigners employed as an academic staff in Thailand

1.    Biodata page of valid Passport or Travel Document (with validity not less 6 months)

2.    Two recent (3.5 x 4.5 cm.) photographs of the applicant, taken within the past six months

3.    Letter confirming employment details from schools/university signed by authorized person together with a copy of ID card or passport of the signer

4.    School/university’s registration

5.    Approval letter from concerned authority under the Ministry of Education

6.    Certificate of criminal record clearance from the country of residence

7.    Academic qualification certificate

8.    Yellow Fever Certificate

9.    Consular officers reserve the rights to request additional documents as deemed necessary
